iLabX: The Virtual Internet Laboratory

  • this course is open to students from European universities as part of the EuroTeQ program
  • mutually exclusive with the iLab1/2 (i.e., you can take either iLab1/2 or the iLabX during your studies)
  • fully remote block course taking place at the end of the semester (vacation period)
  • first phase: 6 week online course (flexible)
  • grade consists of performance in lab (teams of two) and two individually graded remotely supervised attestations
  • second phase: ~4 weeks with live online lectures and practical work in teams of two (full time)
  • the lab environment is contained in a VM running on your PC
  • preliminary dates:
    • pre-course meeting: see above
    • online course phase: from 2027-01-18 to 2027-02-22
    • lab phase: from 2027-03-01 to 2027-04-05
